Medan is the capital city of North Sumatra province, Indonesia. It is the largest city in Sumatra. It is located in the north of the province, and has a nearby harbour, Belawan, and an international airport, Polonia International Airport serves as a gateway city to such attractions as Lake Toba, Aceh Province (beautiful scenery and traditional dancing) and KrK island (rugged tropical and undeveloped island).
Parapat (pronounced Prapat) is a small town in North Sumatra province on the edge of Lake Toba, on the Uluan Peninsula where it forms the narrowest eastern link to Samosir Island. It is the primary transit point by ferry for visitors going to Samosir Island, and connected via Trans-Sumatran Highway to Pematang Siantar by a 48 km road.
Berastagi (meaning “rice store”) is a town situated on crossroads on the main route linking the Karo highlands of Northern Sumatra to the coastal city of Medan. The village rose to significance when Dutch settlers in Sumatra opened a boarding school there in the 1920s. The main economic activities in Berastagi, centre on the colourful fruit and vegetable market and on tourism. Berastagi is famous for its passion fruit. The main attractions of the town are the two active volcanoes; Gunung Sibayak, with its hot springs, and Gunung Sinabung.

Arrive at Polonia International Airport Medan, greeting service with Tour Guide. Stop at licensed money changer and to buy simcard/top up. Visit Maimoon Palace to see the Palace Of Sulthan Deli which built in 1888. Stop at Batik Shops for buying Batiks, Saroong, etc. Transfer to local restaurant for lunch. After lunch proceed to Parapat Lake Toba. Enroute stop at Patent Shop for buying local food products named Teng Teng, Ting Ting, etc. Arrive at Parapat check in to Hotel for accommodation.
Parapat – Samosir Island – Sipisopiso- Berastagi – Medan (BLD)
After breakfast at Hotel, cruise the Lake Toba by Ferry Boat about 45 minutes for visiting Tomok Village to see the old grave stone of King Sidabutar, continued to visit Ambarita Village to see the old chairs stone and execution place made by King Siallagan. Back to Parapat transfer to local restaurant for lunch. After lunch tour continued to Berastagi. Enroute stop at Simarjarunjung to enjoy Ginger Tea and Pisang Goreng (Personal account). Stop at Sipiso Piso waterfall to see the waterfall about 110 meters and to see the extraordinary view of Lake Toba from Northern. Proceed to Berastagi upon arrival at Berastagi visit Central Fruits Market for buying tropical fruits and flowers. Tour proceeds to Medan, dinner at local restaurant or Hotel. Arrive in Medan check in to Hotel for accommodation.
